different sort of slytherin

Hello, there~ My name is Andromeda Black. Most people call me Andie. I'm seventeen, and a seventh year Slytherin.

SLYTHERIN
{ wear }

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not exactly . . . "pro-pureblood", let's put it. I don't look at anybody as lowlier to their bloodline, and just because I'm a Black doesn't mean I do.

My favorite class is Astronomy, and I can't fly worth a darn.

Send me an owl, I love to talk!

“Aye, she tends to do that. Gryffindor through and through, my Mary Mac, and a rather vocal one at that,” he grinned, rubbing the back of his neck. She corrected his time of day and he looked around, blinking at the brighter than usual sunlight.

“You’re right,” he nodded. “Usually I go for my run in the mornings, you see. I’m a little backwards since I slept in. It’s good to hear you’re doing well. As for me and Lily, well. We’re something. I don’t know what it is, but it’s good.”

It was nice to be able to tell someone that. He hadn’t mentioned it to anyone yet. And the idea that something good could have come out of this whole mess with Rodolphus Lestrange - it gave him hope. Even thinking about her, about the way she looked in his t-shirt, the way her lips felt on his, made him feel suddenly warm inside, and he couldn’t help the beatific grin that spread across his face at the thought.

Andromeda laughed and shook her head, moving some flyaway strands of hair from her face. “I haven’t had much of a chance to get to know her, but I definitely won’t disagree with that,” she admitted amusedly, thinking once again of their earlier exchange. ‘Vocal’ was right. Andromeda hardly had to say anything to set Mary off on them - really, all she’d said was that she was feeling great - and everything had gone sour.

Whatever. It was over now, and although she doubted reconciliation was eminent, she hoped that at least things would calm between them. Hopefully James would drop her a good word, because she hardly wanted to spend her last bit of time at Hogwarts arguing with another girl.

Andromeda shrugged. “It happens,” she said. “I actually just did it not to long ago, to be honest. Said good morning at nine in the evening,” she admitted with a small laugh, shaking her head once more. “Anyway - I’m really glad to hear things are going well between you two. I knew they would sooner or later. Merlin, I think half the school was just wondering when it would happen, whereas the other half were wondering why you never gave up. Good thing you didn’t, though, right?”
